How I Handle Delays and Discouragement : Terri

Winston Churchill, Thomas Edison, Colonel Sanders, R. H. Macy, Steven Spielberg, Marilyn Monroe, Soichiro Honda, Walt Disney.
Everybody faces impossibilities. We all face delays or what appears to be a delay in the pursuit of our dreams and getting our prayers answered.

What do you do when there is delay after delay and you know in your heart, God told you to do this?
You have to stay optimistic, and stay full of hope, and full of faith, while you are in the journey.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him (God). -Hebrews 11:6

Hang on to your dream more than you ever have before because you have no idea what God is protecting you from, what He's preserving for you by the fact that it seems delayed. God's timing is always right.

1. Make yourself listen to messages full of hope. (hearing the Word)
Consistently fill your mind with messages of hope and faith. It will affect the way you feel, affect the way you speak and it will affect the outcome.

2. Speak to your dream. (speaking the Word)
"Thank you God I have the job. Thank u God I am working."
We/I just acted as if it was done.

3. Sow significant seed.
Work.
(fyi proverb: as you sow, so shall you reap.)

Whatever you're going through right now, trust me on this, God is working behind the scenes, He's arranging things to work out in your favour at the perfect time.

It may not be easy, but it will be worth it. So trust God, fill yourself up with the Word of God, speak to your vision, express gratitude, just thank the Lord as if its already done and sow seed for your future.
