1. Figure out for which tasks you want to be mentally engaged. And for which tasks you can be less actively engaged.

Keep the distractions to a minimum.

2. Take frequent small breaks.

Take a 10-15 min. break every hour, if possible.

Try to find small moments for a 1-2 min. mini-break.

3. Try not to multitask.

4. Consider what fuel you're giving your brain.

5. Exercise.

6. Planning and Scheduling.

7. Try to get enough sleep.

8. Listen to your body.
