You have to be able to execute.

That's being effective vs. just being efficient.
Its measured by how effectively you are able to pick the one or two things that are your highest priority.
8. Be pragmatically pessimistic
9. Have a focused metric
I think its important to have one or two numbers that you can track on a weekly basis.
10. Use failure to help you
I view it as a feedback mechanism.
Everyone will face failure or mistakes and those are the diverging points from which they can either go in good direction or bad direction.
